Sean Furlong National Director - US Sean is married with three children and currently resides in Colorado Springs, CO. A veteran of the USA Coast Guard, he served in Guam and mainland USA. He has a bachelor’s degree in leadership development and intercultural studies.

Working with a global mission organization for 20+ years, he developed skills and experience in finance, administration, training, leadership, mobilization, business, and international teams. He also served in various areas of church leadership and as an associate pastor while living in Canada for 12 years. Sean is the international director for a publishing ministry, producing prayer resources in 40+ languages, working with regional partners around the world, annually distributing to one million believers worldwide.

In 2020, Sean joined GCF to establish the USA office, Friends of the Great Commission, and continues with the same desire to see mission endeavors thrive. Sean draws from his own experiences to serve ministers and ministries; providing services that free them to focus on their unique work.
