About This Partner

Love New Canadians equips local churches to serve immigrants in their neighbourhoods. 

New Canadians are seeking friendship and community. Every church has friendly volunteers who can share God’s love with immigrant neighbours, but often they don’t know how to do this. We equip local churches to do demographic research to understand the immigrants in their neighbourhoods, create settlement programming to help new Canadians adapt well here in Canada, and then help those immigrants connect with mature believers in our churches who will show them the love of Christ.

Love New Canadians helps churches develop pathways to Jesus for immigrants through a three stage process.

This 3-stage pathway includes:

– Settlement programming such as ESL classes, job search training, citizenship classes, and more, to help New Canadians settle in Canada

– Bridges for the spiritually curious, a pre-evangelistic ESL class which is a gentle introduction to the gospel where students study Canadian culture, English language, and the life and teaching of Jesus

– Spiritual programming for people who are interested in learning about Jesus through ESL Bible studies, Alpha, worship services, etc.
