Parakaleo 812 is a supportive and educational ministry to foster emotional intelligence resulting in self-awareness which creates stronger relationships and empowers healthier communities.
Parakaleo 812 specializes in the mission of reaching vulnerable populations who have experienced trauma. Trauma-induced situations can result in life-long struggles with unhealthy relationships which break down communities. Our goal is to meet individuals where they are in relation to their trauma experiences and foster healing interactions in safe spaces. Our priority focus is on vulnerable/trauma-induced children in foster care systems including transitional and permanent placement situations.
The challenges of financial stability will always be a driving force in the successful offerings of a ministry. These challenges are being met by communicating our vision and mission of the organization to raise awareness in partnerships.
The unaddressed needs of the global mental health crisis continue to plague families, communities, and nations. Parakaleo 812’s goal is to offer safe healing safe spaces opportunities to families in crisis through pet therapy and specialized licensed therapists. We offer experiences at an outdoor venue for vulnerable children that provides opportunities for successful and safe activities which highlights encouragement, connection, and self-awareness. Additionally, our outdoor venue provides respite opportunities for caregivers and family providers.
We are inspired to provide scholarships to vulnerable children and families to have the opportunity to develop healthy relational skills in a Parakaleo 812 setting. Your donation will help us establish these programs at no cost to families.
