Revival Study Tours is a newly established non-profit ministry based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Our purpose is to equip, inspire, and strengthen the next generation through biblical teaching, discipleship, Christian study tours, practical ministry, and authentic Christian community.
We help young people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, deepen their understanding of God’s Word, and learn from revival history and the global Church. Participants do not simply visit historic places; they experience faith in practice through prayer, worship, service, outreach, and relationships with local churches and Christian leaders.
Our vision is summarized in three words: Learn. Live. Send. Participants learn from Scripture, history, and the wider Church; live out their faith through discipleship and service; and return home equipped to strengthen their local churches and serve their communities.
Our first major study tour is planned for 2027: a 21-day Revival History Study Tour in Southern California for young people from Sweden.
As a new ministry, we are building the organizational, financial, and relational foundation needed for long-term sustainability. This includes developing trusted relationships with churches, Christian leaders, host ministries, volunteers, and supporters in Sweden and the United States.
International travel is expensive, and many young people have limited financial resources. Without scholarships and sponsorships, some may be unable to participate.
We must also build awareness and trust among churches and families, recruit suitable participants, and coordinate travel, accommodation, transportation, meals, insurance, safeguarding, ministry visits, and outreach. Another important challenge is ensuring that the experience produces lasting spiritual growth rather than temporary inspiration.
We are developing a complete discipleship journey rather than offering only a study trip. Before departure, participants will receive biblical teaching, prayer, team building, revival-history education, and practical ministry training. During the tour, they will learn and serve alongside churches and ministries. After returning home, follow-up and reflection will help them apply what they have learned in their churches and communities.
We are building partnerships with churches, ministries, and Christian leaders in Sweden and Southern California. Participants will normally contribute toward their travel costs, while donations and sponsorships will help provide scholarships and reduce financial barriers.
We currently need prayer, financial support, ministry partnerships, volunteers, mentors, and practical assistance with logistics and administration. We also welcome connections with churches, Christian leaders, revival-history locations, and outreach ministries in Southern California.
Our goal is not simply to organize a successful journey. We want to invest in young people who return home with renewed faith, practical ministry experience, a deeper love for Jesus and His Church, and a lasting commitment to live out the Gospel.
