The NEW School exists to raise a generation of children who are rooted in Christ, grounded in truth, and equipped to live with purpose, courage, and compassion. Our mission is to provide a Christ-centered, holistic education that nurtures the spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and physical development of each child. Through a unique model that integrates faith, outdoor learning, entrepreneurship, and a growth mindset, we are discipling young people to know God deeply, think critically, and engage the world as servant leaders. At its core, The NEW School is not simply an educational institution—it is a movement to restore education as a pathway for discipleship and Kingdom impact.
As our community grows, we are facing several significant challenges. There is a rising demand from families seeking an alternative to conventional education—one that is aligned with their faith and values—yet many are unable to access our programs due to financial limitations. Additionally, as a small but expanding school, we are navigating constraints related to space, staffing, and sustainable funding. We are also working to build the operational and governance structures required to support long-term growth, including expanding our reach to serve more families and potentially replicate our model in other communities.
In response, The NEW School is actively stewarding its growth through intentional planning, community engagement, and program development. We are cultivating a strong culture among staff and families, investing in curriculum and leadership, and creating opportunities for experiential and outdoor learning that reflect our core pillars. We are also seeking partnerships and funding opportunities to make our programs more accessible through bursaries and scholarships, ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent families from participating.
To continue this work and expand our impact, we require additional support. Financial contributions will allow us to provide access to more families, enhance our learning environments, and invest in qualified educators and programming. We also seek mentorship, strategic partnerships, and alignment with organizations such as Friends of the Great Commission to strengthen our mission and extend our reach. With this support, The NEW School will continue to grow as a Christ-centered educational community that equips children not only for academic success, but for lives of faith, leadership, and service.
