About This Partner

Purpose and Goal of the Ministry

Agape Christian Fellowship exists to glorify God by preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and equipping believers to live out their faith through worship, service, and community. The ministry seeks to nurture spiritual growth, provide practical help to those in need, and strengthen fellowship among members and the broader community.

Our Core Goals include:

  • Teaching Scripture faithfully and grounding the community in Christ-centered values.

  • Providing charitable support—food, clothing, counseling, and spiritual care.

  • Fostering unity and discipleship through education, small groups, and worship.

  • Building a healthy leadership structure (Elders, Deacons, Trustees, and Church Council) that ensures accountability and sustainable growth.

  • Extending outreach locally and abroad, reflecting Christ’s love beyond church walls.

Challenges the Ministry is Facing

Like many young and growing churches, Agape faces a set of challenges that stretch both resources and leadership capacity:

  • Limited resources to consistently meet community needs and expand ministry programs.

  • Volunteer shortages in key areas such as worship, children’s ministry, and community outreach.

  • Financial constraints that limit the ability to fund facilities, outreach, and charitable aid.

  • Community engagement barriers, particularly in reaching disconnected individuals or those uncertain about formal church life.

  • Organizational transitions as the church formalizes its structure through elections, government recognition as an Asociación Civil, and partnerships for online giving.

How the Ministry is Handling These Challenges & What Help is Needed

Agape is approaching these challenges with faith and intentional planning:

  • Maximizing resources through strategic prioritization and shared leadership.

  • Strengthening structure by electing leaders (Elders, Deacons, Trustees, and Council members) and formalizing governance.

  • Encouraging participation by calling members into ministry roles and forming teams for worship, facilities, events, and outreach.

  • Seeking support through partnerships with ministries like The Great Commission, enabling online giving and international tax receipting.

  • Expanding outreach with fellowship, discipleship classes, and service projects to build deeper ties in the community.
