About This Partner

We moved to Winnipeg in 2016 with a strong calling to plant our lives in this city-which has over 800,00 souls, the vast majority of whom don't know Jesus...yet!!. After being here for almost 8 years, and connecting with a lot of other churches and ministries around our city, our best guess is that less than 5% of the people here have any kind of meaningful connection with a Bible Teaching Church. Our burning desire is to share the soul cleansing, life changing love of Jesus with as many people as possible. Our desire is to guide them into a deeper walk with God as they follow Jesus down the narrow way. The goal is that through this journey, that they would be used by Jesus to shine bright and push back the shadows in their parts our city.

I (John) passionately preach God's word each week with a bedrock conviction that through teaching, the Word of the Lord will be used to break up the frozen spiritual ground that exists in Winnipeg, and that it would shatter strongholds and pierce through those whose hearts have been hardened.

WHY give to this partner?

My wife (Amy), and I both have jobs while serving here. We are reaching out and asking for your financial support as we seek to love the people around us into a loving relationship with Jesus Christ. Please pray that the Holy Spirit would fill us and through that an overflow would burst forth to the people around us. With every room we enter, we pray that the love, joy, peace, patience, kindness and goodness of the Lord would be evident.

Please pray that our kids will take up the torch for themselves, and feel the call on their hearts to passionately follow Christ. Please pray for our church as we gather each Sunday morning. Pray that the Holy Spirit would empower the Word, and that the seeds of the Word would fall along good soil, take root, sprout and bear fruit for all to see.
