By the grace of God, 24/7 prayer with worship has been continuing for the past 22 years at the International House of Prayer of Kansas City (IHOPKC), serving as a catalyzed for the larger movement spreading all over the globe! The IHOPKC community exists to partner in the Great Commission by advancing 24/7 prayer with worship and proclaiming the beauty of Jesus and His glorious return.IHOPKC is an evangelical missions organization that is committed to praying for the release of the fullness of God’s power and purpose as we actively win the lost, heal the sick, feed the poor, make disciples, and impact every sphere of society—family, education, government, economy, arts, media, religion, etc. Our vision is to work in relationship with the wider Body of Christ to engage in the Great Commission as we seek to walk out the two great commandments—to love God and love people. Our ministries and outreaches focus on different areas of our community. We are currently increasing our inner-city outreach with on-site food distribution, discipleship programs, provision of food and clothing for children, street clean-up, and our inner-city prayer room operating ten hours a day (and working towards night-and-day prayer). We are serving orphans and children at risk through our Children’s Justice Initiative. We are also partnering with Women’s Life Center, a local crisis pregnancy center helping women in their process of choosing life over abortion. In the future, we plan to be a support system for victims of human trafficking, prostitution, and domestic violence who respond to the gospel by providing homes and restoration programs. We believe we are better equipped for ministry when our lives are rooted in prayer and worship. Living a lifestyle that is focused on intimacy with God and intercession for the fullness of His breakthrough power enables us to minister to people through Jesus' compassion. There are currently 650 intercessory missionaries at IHOPKC who are committed to prayer, fasting, the Great Commission, and the forerunner message by spiritually preparing for the unique dynamics of the end times. The work of our missions base includes equipping and sending out missionaries as dedicated intercessors and evangelists who work to see revival within the Church and a harvest among those searching for God. We take seriously the mandate to train believers to love Jesus and others wholeheartedly as together we go forth to preach the Word, heal the sick, serve the poor, plant houses of prayer, and proclaim the return of Jesus across the earth. The heart of our missions base is night-and-day prayer with worship. Two figures from the Bible who inspire us in this are Anna, one of the first evangelists and intercessors in the New Testament, who prayed and fasted for over sixty years before Jesus’ first coming (Lk. 2:37), and King David, who organized and paid 4,000 musicians and 288 singers to worship God night and day (1 Chr. 23:1–25:31).As in the time of King David, there were tens of thousands beyond the 24,000 Levites who joined hands and hearts together with the priests to thrust forward the expression of pure and genuine prayer and worship, filling the earth with God’s glory and fame. The entire nation of ancient Israel was fully engaged in this endeavor, and the Lord’s undeniable hand of protection and favor covered them.In a similar way, we are experiencing and anticipating the greatest pressure and onslaught of the enemy coming against the Body of Jesus to steal, kill, and destroy. The enemy is truly raging on all fronts to discourage, divide, and eventually conquer the Church through the culture war, legislative processes, and expansion of occult activities. The International House of Prayer of Kansas City will continue to stay the course as well as strengthen what the Lord is doing on the earth right now through 24/7 prayer with worship, pushing back the darkness and seeing the purposes of the Lord fully released on the earth unto the full salvation of Israel and the global harvest of souls. The Great Commission Foundation (GCF) enabled the Canadian donors to join hands and hearts to partner with IHOPKC in fueling the end-time prayer movement and funding intercessory missionaries.PGJyLz4=

Prayer Request:

Pray that the Lord will raise up thousands of intercessory missionaries who, like John the Baptist, live a lifestyle of discipline and devotion to God and whose lives and voices cry out, “Prepare the way of the Lord!”Pray that the intercessory missionaries will be fully funded in order to catalyze the global 24/7 prayer movement to proclaim the beauty of Jesus and propel the gospel going forth to every nation, tribe, and tongue until the Lord returns.PGJyLz4=DONATE NOWPGJyLz4=PC9icj48L2JyPg==https://gcfcanada.comwp-content/uploads/2020/11/GCF-Logo-2.pngABOUT GCFSince 2002, the Great Commission Foundation has been providing a place for individuals, ministries and organizations to thrive in ministry.
