Spreading the message that God Values Women! It is vital that CBE continues to reach people worldwide with the transforming message that women and men were created to share authority equally. Your gift will make sure we can continue producing support for CBE’s podcast, eLearning courses, and radio spots. These projects are strategic in teaching and educating new global audiences and the next generation.
CBE has the largest collection of Christian egalitarian resources that dismantle barriers to women’s biblical equality, as well as inequalities that foster suffering and abuse worldwide. Our website reaches over one million users annually with the message that God values women and calls them to equal partnership with men. Making the best possible resources available on CBE’s website is the most powerful means we have to reach and serve more people worldwide.
Due to declining biblical literacy among Christians and a lack of awareness of women in Scripture and mission, CBE has been creating weekly radio spots showing that women were created in God’s image to share leadership with men. We began our pilot radio project in February 2022, running thirty-second spots (Mon.–Fri.) on three Salem Media Atlanta stations.
CBE will launch a similar initiative on Spanish radio stations. Women in Hispanic churches struggle with a male-dominated culture and need assurance that God calls them to equal partnership with men. $60,000 is needed to create and run these spots.
Using CBE’s vast array of articles and recordings, we are creating online courses that introduce more people to the essential issues of women’s biblical equality.
We recently released the first course, Answers to Common Questions about Women and the Church. The content is extremely valuable for educating and advocating that God created women and men as equal partners. It will change many lives by opening the eyes of those who have been misled and confused by misinterpreted Bible passages and ideals that devalue women. The total cost for 2022 is $18,000.
CBE is producing a weekly podcast exploring egalitarian theology and its impact. The podcast is comprised of four themes with seven diverse hosts, who are all experts in their fields. We publish four episodes a month and are looking to expand to five themes starting in 2023. The new theme will be centred on Bible translation.
These conversations are imperative to engage in important cultural issues. Since its launch in October 2021, it has received a total of 12,700 downloads, reaching eighty known countries. The annual cost is $32,000.
