As the Festive Season for 2022 approaches, we are preparing to send Dr. Jonathan Pons on an extremely challenging mission to extremely poor communities ravaged by war in Sudan in January – February 2023. The people there are desperately in need of eye care, and we need just R20,000 to make this trip possible. If you, your family or friends have been touched by the importance of Dr. Pons work, please help us support this mission to touch lives by bringing Sight to the blind in Sudan this Christmas.
Medical Mission Eswatini (MME) collaborates with partners to deliver strategically needed, high quality and sustainable healthcare improvements. MME fosters long-term commitments with the communities we serve and is focused on educating the next generation of healthcare professionals. MME is driven by the unmet healthcare needs of neglected communities in Southern Africa and intends to become a leader in the implementation of best international practices through research and published work, creating models that can be replicated to increase access to more people needing specialist medical treatment in the future.
Why give to this project?
You can help MME Medical Teams reach neglected communities to treat blindness and restore life. Donate to Sight Flight to support Medical Teams in reaching the most inaccessible communities in Eswatini.
Help us provide free medical care to the most financially disadvantaged in first-class health facilities. Donate to MME’s Day Surgery Clinic to create new services to help blind patients neglected for years.
Donate now to give vision and life-changing support to patients who cannot afford transport or care. Support transport for a patient from a remote community to reach MME’s facilities to get treatment.
Prayer Request:
Pray for Dr. Jonathan and his team in South Sudan. Pray that they can help more Sudanese with the gift of eye care and the Gospel this holiday season.
