C2C Collective - Empowering Church Planting in Canada

In the vast expanse of Canada, where diversity meets a vast landscape, the C2C Collective emerges as a dynamic force dedicated to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Serving denominations, churches, and ministry leaders, C2C is on a mission to see more multiplying churches take root across the nation.

A Vision for Multiplying Churches

C2C stands ready to assist church planters, churches interested in planting, and denominations or networks exploring church planting, replanting, or multi-site initiatives. The collective envisions a landscape where healthy leaders lead fruitful churches, embracing creative approaches to disciple-making.

The Birth of C2C Collective

Born in the Mennonite Brethren denomination in British Columbia, C2C began its journey as "Church Planting BC" and later evolved into C2C Network. Today, it has grown into a cross-denominational, national network, uniting various evangelical denominations, networks, and mission agencies. The core mission is to collaborate and plant Gospel-centered, Spirit-led, mission-focused, and Kingdom-minded churches.

A Unifying Verse: Psalm 72:8

The name "C2C Collective" draws inspiration from Psalm 72:8, "May He have dominion from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth!" This verse, proposed by Sir Leonard Tilley in 1864 as Canada's motto, echoes in stone over the Peace Tower in Ottawa, symbolizing the collective's commitment to reaching every corner of the nation with the Gospel.

Core Values: Gospel-Centered, Spirit-Led, Mission-Focused, Kingdom-Minded

C2C's core values guide its actions and relationships:

  1. Gospel-Centered: The person and work of Jesus Christ take center stage, emphasizing the historic gospel as the foundation for interaction and leadership in local churches.

  2. Spirit-Led: The Holy Spirit's leading is paramount, guiding the interpretation of the Word of God, calling planters into the harvest, and providing the resources needed for the work.

  3. Mission-Focused: C2C is driven by the mission to make disciples among the lost people in Canada. The local church serves as a training center for believers to spread the "good news."

  4. Kingdom-Minded: Acknowledging meaningful partnerships between churches, denominations, and organizations, C2C promotes collaboration as a response to the unity that Jesus calls His Church to live.

Uniting Denominations for a Common Cause

C2C exists for the benefit of denominations, offering support in assessing, training, and coaching church planters. The collective also raises funds to financially support these planters, respecting and honoring each denomination's heritage and confessional documents.

A Collective Effort for Canada's Spiritual Landscape

In a vast and diverse country like Canada, the C2C Collective stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and unity in spreading the Gospel. With a vision for multiplying churches and a commitment to core values, C2C Collective is at the forefront of empowering leaders and communities to embrace the transformative message of Jesus Christ from sea to sea.
