Dear Friends,
We thank Jesus for another wonderful and fruitful year. God has been so good to us and our family and we give Him praise and glory!
Some of the personal and ministry highlights from this year include:
● Debbie completed a spring term of language school
● Our Family Group multiplied
● Our church started a second service
● Purchased a huge building debt-free for PAZ Church Shōnan (started last year)
● We were asked to lead a new church plant into Tokyo (and said yes!)
● Enjoyed four family reunions in the States this past summer
● Had 65 people at our Family Group Thanksgiving outreach (definitely a new record for us!)
Thank you for your prayers and cheering us on from afar. We’re so blessed to have you in our corner. Knowing we have people like you supporting us makes all the difference!
On Easter Sunday our current church campus plans to start a 3rd service! We also hope to multiply our Family Group again, this time into three smaller groups.
In April, Evelyn will start 1st grade! At that time, Isabella will start 3rd grade and Eliana will enter her last year of kindergarten.
We plan to move in August during summer break to the east side of Tokyo where our new PAZ Church campus will be. The girls will move to their new schools in the middle of the school year, so please pray for this transition.
In preparation for our move, we are raising up leaders to take our places here in Noborito as well as a team to go with us on the new church plant.
We’d like to start having a church service once a month in Tokyo starting in April already, then officially launch the new campus after we are living in East Tokyo.
There are a lot of moving parts with multiple churches, multiple services, overseeing volunteer teams, raising up new leaders, multiplying Family Groups, and meeting people for discipleship.
We can’t say it enough – we value your prayers, your encouragement, and your support! We are doing what’s only possible through God – taking the love of Jesus to Japan and seeing Him build His church!
Would you give financially to help us launch PAZ Church Tokyo East?
Church Planting in Tokyo is expensive, especially for a larger family. We hope to raise over $30,000 for our family’s personal needs as we come to the end of the year to help set us up for success with our move and help us step into the role of campus pastors for PAZ Church Tokyo!
We thank God that with the help of our home church, Cornerstone Church, we have already raised over $10,000!
Would you pray about becoming a monthly financial partner with us or giving a one-time gift as we head into the new year?
For everyone who already gives financially to us as missionaries with PAZ International – thank you so much! We could not do what we do without your sacrifice and support. You are reaching an unreached people group in the 10/40 Window who desperately needs to know Jesus!
Your gift will be handled with complete integrity through the 501C3 organization of PAZ International, in good standing with the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability. PAZ does not charge an administration fee so we receive 100% of what you designate to us.
You can give a one-time donation or set up a recurring donation at
pazinternational.org/doe-en and designate Ben & Debbie Block as the missionaries.
We are committed to serving the people of Japan and making an eternal impact. The fields are ripe for harvest. Let’s keep moving forward in faith together!
Thank you so much!
With lots of love,
Believing God for the best year yet in 2025!
