Five and Two Network
Community-Centered Development

Across the globe, nearly 10% of the world’s population lives on less than $2.15 a day. But what often gets overlooked in statistics like these is the potential within those very communities—the God-given talents, dreams, and resilience of individuals longing not for handouts, but for the tools and relationships that allow them to flourish. All too often, traditional aid models create dependency, overlooking the voice and value of local communities. The result? Well-intentioned solutions that don’t last, and people who are left feeling powerless in their own story.

Five and Two Network is working to change that through a Christ-centered approach to development. Rather than imposing outside solutions, they focus on empowering local leaders who already know and love their communities. Inspired by the story of Jesus multiplying five loaves and two fish, Five and Two partners with these leaders to spark transformation from the inside out. The result is long-term impact that’s not only effective, but rooted in dignity, ownership, and sustainable faith-filled relationships.

Instead of leading with money or foreign agendas, Five and Two starts by listening. They listen to pastors, farmers, entrepreneurs, teachers, and mothers who already understand their community’s needs and culture. Through mentorship, prayer, training, and access to microgrants, Five and Two helps these leaders implement initiatives that provide clean water, education, healthcare, agriculture, and economic opportunities. Everything is designed, owned, and led by the local community. It’s development that doesn’t just bring change. It invites participation, stewardship, and hope.

What makes Five and Two unique is that it is not a project-based charity. It’s a relational network. Every community partner is seen as a co-laborer in the Kingdom, not a recipient. And every story of impact is a testimony of what God can do when people are empowered with a little support and a lot of faith. From Uganda to Peru, from Nepal to the Middle East, Five and Two is walking alongside people who are changing their own communities in Jesus’ name.
