About This Project

Our mission is to strengthen churches to effectively and efficiently care for their church congregation in a sustainable way, so that, being built up as the body of Christ, the character of God would be displayed.
Our vision is to see churches joyfully and confidently caring for the body of Christ.
Our objective is to equip churches with guidance and resources so they can be renewed and restored physically, relationally and spiritually.
"Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love." Eph. 4: 15, 16
We provide guidance and resources to strengthen churches care for their congregations so that it can build itself up in love.
What we offer to churches:
1. Consulting - We consult with churches to listen, learn and assist with their active work of discipleship and member care. We can help set up systems that provide a sustainable structure for an already existent or new care ministry.
2. Guidance - We provide training and on-going guidance for churches wanting to grow as compassionate disciples who love one another and share the comfort they receive from Christ.
3. Resources - We are here to help! We suggest and share connections to professionals, counselors, books, support groups, blogs, podcasts, and ministries that support member care so that the whole body of Christ is equipped, working properly and growing in love.

*GCF operates on the basis of Donor-Advised Funding. It is our utmost goal to meet the Donor’s desire and intent to provide support to particular GCF projects but, ultimately, the responsibility for the disbursement and ministry use of funds is the Great Commission Foundation’s.
