El Shaddai Regional Child Care Facility exists to provide a safe, stable, and Christ‑centered home for children who have been orphaned, abused, neglected, or abandoned. Our purpose is to offer a nurturing environment where children can live, learn, and grow while experiencing the love of Jesus. The ministry is committed to raising up young leaders who will contribute to a stronger future for Eswatini.
El Shaddai serves the children in our care. We offer:
A free, well‑rounded education program for grades 1–12, ensuring that children have access to quality learning regardless of their circumstances.
We work to equip young people with opportunities to pursue trades school, college, or university so they can build secure and sustainable futures. -The ministry also provides medical support through clinic services in partnership with local government nurses.
In addition, we promote AIDS/HIV awareness and share the hope and healing found in Christ.
Despite these efforts, the ministry faces significant challenges. Of the 54 children currently living at El Shaddai, only four have sponsors, creating ongoing financial strain. Limited funding also prevents us from supporting high school graduates who wish to continue their education or vocational training. Our kitchen and dining hall require major renovation, and our two vehicles (now 20 years old) no longer reliable for daily transportation needs.
Staffing remains a critical concern. With only six staff members caring for 54 children, the workload is heavy and difficult to sustain. Our high school students must walk 12 kilometers each way on a steep, mountainous dirt road to reach the nearest regional high school, which poses safety risks and in some cases affects their ability to succeed academically. At present, the ministry is operating with the help of only a few faithful donors, making long‑term planning extremely challenging.
To continue providing care and expanding opportunities for these children, El Shaddai urgently needs financial support. One‑time donations help address immediate needs, while monthly sponsorships provide the consistent support required to care for each child with dignity and stability. Partnering with us enables vulnerable children in Eswatini to receive safety, education, and the hope of a brighter future.
