The purpose of Empower2Transform is to bring light and power both tangibly and spiritually to isolated places within developing nations. Empower2Transform works collaboratively to design and implement off-grid solar energy systems to generate enough electricity to meet the essential needs of new medical facilities. One such project is located in the Peruvian Amazon, including basic lighting and a refrigerator to store antivenom (antivenin) vaccines needed to treat venomous snake bites, a prevalent challenge in the region, contributing to high mortality rates, especially among children. This new medical centre is located in the Shipibo-Konibo Community of Nuevo Shetebo, Ucayali, Loreto Region, Peru, and will benefit their local community as well as nearby communities also lacking access to health services. Empower2Transform hopes to continue identifying and assisting remote areas in developing nations with solar-powered medical facilities and open the door to share the light, love, and power that faith in Jesus brings.
