The following information is provided as a requirement of Alberta's Charitable Fund-Raising Act, RSA 2000, c C-9.

The Great Commission Foundation ("The GC") is a charitable trust, established by a Deed of Settlement made as of September 1, 2002 and governed by an Amended and Restated Deed of Settlements made as of October 22, 2024.

The GC is a public foundation that is registered with the Canada Revenue Agency (with Canadian Charitable Registration Number 859928483 RR0001).

The charitable objects of The GC are:

1. The advancement of Christianity by spreading its principles;

2. The relief of poverty by the assistance to those persons lacking the necessities of life by giving them food, clothing, shelter or financial assistance;

3. The advancement of education including, without limitation, by the teaching of scripture and the promotion of literacy; and

4. The advancement of other "charitable purposes" as defined within subsection 149.1(1) of Income Tax Act, which includes the disbursement of funds to "qualified donees" as also defined in subsection 149.1(1).

We engage other ministries as agents to carry out projects that fulfill our charitable objects.

The GC anticipates raising an estimated amount of $12,000,000.00 this year from donation for the fulfillment of its charitable objects from donors in Alberta, Canada. The processing of these donations will cost, on average, six percent. The money raised will be going to fulfill the charitable objects of The GC.

About This Project

The purpose and goal of the ministry is to be a church continually renewed by the Holy Spirit in holiness, consecration, and service. It is deeply committed to evangelization, discipleship, missions, and faithful stewardship aligned with God’s will.

With this foundation, the ministry seeks to support and advance pastoral work, respond to both spiritual and social needs, and help individuals live fulfilled lives as people created in God's image. It strives to be recognized locally, regionally, and nationally as a credible Christian community—one that lives out ethical values and promotes unity, justice, peace, and love while honoring cultural and ethnic diversity.

Yet, the path forward is not without its challenges. The ministry often finds itself navigating unexpected directions as it follows God's call. It faces the reality of limited resources and the difficulty of reaching people who may never be encountered face-to-face. These challenges, though surprising and demanding, test the ministry's faith and resilience—but they also create opportunities for God's provision and transformative impact.

In the midst of these obstacles, the ministry remains faithful and obedient to God's commands. Through that obedience, it continues to witness divine provision, open doors, and the manifestation of God's power. To carry this mission forward effectively, however, the ministry recognizes the need for ongoing spiritual support through prayer, financial resources to sustain and grow its operations, strategic partnerships to advance evangelization, discipleship, and missions, and dedicated volunteers or leaders to serve in both pastoral and social capacities.
