The "Peace Country Gospel Jamboree" exists to spread the good news of the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through Christian music and Bible teaching. It is intended that this jamboree is both an "outreach" event to those who have not yet accepted Christ as their Savior, and a place of fellowship and encouragement for the body of believers throughout the "Peace Country" and beyond.
Along with live stage performances of good quality Christian music and bible teaching, we provide a family friendly fun filled weekend that includes rides, games, workshops, food, free camping and lots of time to visit with your friends and family!!!
The "Peace Country Gospel Jamboree" is held annually on the August long weekend at the South Peace Centennial Museum grounds 45 km west of Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada.
In recent years, costs to book singing groups and speakers, as well as associated costs of travel and accommodations have increased substantially. In an effort to keep ticket costs low enough so as not to make the "cost" of attending, a deterrent to attend this Christian event, we are looking for financial support from those who agree with the goals of this ministry and are able to help in this way. A one time gift or even an annual commitment to this ministry would be much appreciated and used prayerfully and carefully in the furthering of the gospel.
The "Peace Country Gospel Jamboree" now operates financially under the umbrella of "The Great Commission Foundation" through whom we can now offer tax deductible receipts.
