Connecting people with God through experiencing His creation – one adventure at a time.
To see people encounter God, find hope, and live transformed lives in Christ.
Definition: A waypoint is an intermediate stop or specific location along a route. In modern navigation, it refers to a set of coordinates recorded by GPS that define a precise geographical point for plotting travel.
A waypoint is a marker along a journey – a place that provides direction, guidance, and reassurance for travelers as they move forward. In the same way, our walk with Christ is shaped by waypoints: moments where God meets us, restores us, redirects us and reminds us we are not walking alone.
At Waypoint Adventures, we believe faith in Christ is a journey, one where God faithfully meets us along the way. Every day, many people walk through life carrying deep pain, loneliness, and brokenness. Our calling is to walk alongside them, offering a safe, nurturing, and encouraging faith community where they can find refuge, healing, and hope in Jesus. One of the unique ways we help foster that transformation is through God’s creation. We believe the outdoors can be a place for evangelism, discipleship and deeper connection.
Specifically, this looks like serving through facilitating outdoor experiences (hiking, climbing, fishing, team building, archery, etc), mentoring, Bible studies, and training young leaders who serve in summer camp ministries.
Our heart is to walk alongside young men, women and families. Some of these are with relationships that we have been building since we started in ministry in 2009. And some of these will be new connections we make as we partner with churches, Christian organizations, summer camps and newcomers to Canada ministries.
This ministry is only possible because of our kingdom partners – faithful individuals, families, businesses and churches who invest financially and prayerfully so we can continue this work with passion and sustainability. As we look ahead, we are praying for new monthly ministry partners who believe in the impact of outdoor adventure ministry and share a heart for those who are often overlooked or struggling. Would you consider partnering with us? Your partnership helps create spaces where people can encounter God’s love, discover belonging, and grow in their walk with Christ.
