Novō Communities - Bringing Freedom From Addiction

In a world where addiction grips countless individuals, families, and communities, Novō Communities serves as a guiding light in the battle against addiction, offering culturally sensitive programs rooted in integrity and empowerment. Established with a vision to bring freedom to individuals, peace to families, and hope to communities, Novō embodies the transformative power of support, community, and faith.

At the heart of Novō’s mission is the belief in the inherent worth and potential of every individual struggling with addiction. Founded in 2015, Novō draws upon the legacy of Yeldall Manor, a UK charity renowned for its residential addiction treatment. However, Novō goes beyond conventional approaches by tailoring its programs to fit the cultural, economic, and social realities of its residents.

Central to Novō’s approach is the concept of community. Recognizing that addiction is a multifaceted issue encompassing biological, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions, Novō fosters holistic healing through its Therapeutic and Transition programs. These programs provide residents with a safe and supportive environment to address their past, prepare for the future, and establish healthy relationships within and beyond the Novō community.

What sets Novō apart is its unwavering commitment to empowering individuals to find freedom and responsibility on their journey to recovery. By centering its communities on Christ while respecting the freedom of choice in faith, Novō creates an inclusive environment where individuals from all walks of life, backgrounds, ethnicities, cultures, and faiths are welcomed and valued.

Crucial to Novō’s success are its core values: Integrity, Empowerment, Respect, Excellence, and Community. These values guide every aspect of Novō’s work, ensuring that each resident receives the support and encouragement needed to embark on the path to lasting recovery.

One of the most significant aspects of Novō’s ministry is its reliance on the support of generous donors, churches, foundations, and businesses. Through financial contributions, individuals become Novō Padrinos, or Godparents, providing residents with the opportunity to break free from the chains of addiction and embrace a life of purpose and fulfillment.

Currently, Novō operates a thriving community in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, where men find healing, wholeness, and hope. This community serves as a testament to the effectiveness of Novō’s approach and the dedication of its local leadership.

Looking to the future, Novō is set to expand its reach with the upcoming launch of a community in Nicaragua. By partnering with local organizations and employing a local team, Novō aims to extend its transformative impact to new regions, offering individuals the chance to reclaim their lives and build a brighter future.

In a world plagued by addiction and despair, Novō Communities stands as a beacon of hope, offering a pathway to freedom, healing, and hope. Through its unwavering commitment to community, faith, and empowerment, Novō continues to transform lives and uplift communities, one individual at a time.
