About This Project

Alabaster House of Worship exists to see Jesus loved and worshiped. Through worship, prayer, evangelism and discipleship, we’re inviting others to encounter His love. Our desire is to break open the alabaster jars of our lives and pour our hearts out for His pleasure. We want to see His Bride empowered by the Holy Spirit to joyfully obey the two Great Commandments: love God with all we are and love those around us as we minister from a place of first love (Rev. 2:4). As we minister at events in churches and other venues (coffee shops, homes, skateparks, etc.), we are helping disciple a generation of Jesus lovers who worship in Spirit and in Truth.

Randy & Jacquelyn work as full-time missionaries dependent upon the Father and generous financial partners to provide for their daily needs. In October of 2008, God called them to do something radical. They were both in job transitions and the Father asked them not to apply for new jobs but to work for Him. As they stepped out in faith, following Jesus’ call into full-time ministry and haven’t looked back since. They began ministering to university students in their home with Jacquelyn leading worship and Randy teaching, learning to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit as He empowered them to minister through teaching, prophetic, and healing gifts.

Randy took a full-time position as Assistant Pastor at The River Fellowship in Langley, BC in 2011 and Jacquelyn continued to lead worship and mentor others. In December 2019 they responded to a call from the Holy Spirit to spend their lives ministering at the feet of Jesus. He began speaking about taking a new step of faith into the unknown. In October 2021, after a decade of pastoral ministry, they obeyed His call and moved to Central Alberta. He started to give them a vision for a more missional approach to ministry focused on deep intimacy with Jesus. As part of that vision, Alabaster House of Worship was launched in May 2022.

At their monthly Alabaster Worship Nights, people are powerfully encountering the love of God through intimate worship and biblical teaching. The focus is on Jesus and how the Church can love Him as a pure Bride. Through their weekly Experiencing Jesus Bible Study they are teaching others how to read the Bible with an understanding of the historical/cultural context partnered with listening to the Holy Spirit as He reveals the person of Jesus and brings the scriptures to life. They have partnered with their local church to establish a daily House of Prayer. As part of the HOP, they lead Harp & Bowl (worship with the word) prayer sessions while mentoring others in how to sing and pray through the scriptures.
