About This Project

My name is Amanda Taylor, and I live and work in the lovely country of Malawi. She is a beautiful little nation in Southeast Africa, but Malawi is also known as one of the poorest nations in the world. And while there is material poverty, there is also spiritual poverty. Witchcraft and superstition, and lack of solid biblical teaching places a heavy burden on the people of Malawi. My job here is to come alongside and be the hands and feet of Jesus by helping those in poverty—whatever that poverty may look like! By God’s grace, I and my Malawian co-workers have started over a dozen theological teaching programs and we also have programs to assist the poor, such as feeding programs and English-teaching opportunities. I have had the opportunity and the freedom here to work with many different demographics and various styles of ministry, and my goal is to expand our teaching through the whole of Malawi.
