The mission of As Of First Importance Ministries (AOFIM) is to provide free Christ-centered Bible training to pastors and church leaders in the Philippines, focusing on two subjects: Christ-centered gospel and Christ-centered Bible interpretation. Our vision is to restore the glory and honor to Jesus Christ as first love of His messengers, as first place in His church, and as first importance of His gospel.
Together as bondservants of the Lord Jesus Christ, Pastor Narciso “Bong” Cabuhat and his wife, Bea—along with their two children, Isabella (2018) and Theophilus (2022)—have been called by God to live in the Philippines as full-time missionaries of AOFIM. They will travel around Philippines from city to city, partnering with local churches to conduct ministry programs of Christ-centered Bible training and Christ-centered evangelism. The objective of AOFIM’s programs is to equip and exhort the pastors to be simply and purely devoted to Christ Jesus so that they will shepherd their churches in the love of Christ and for the glory of Christ; and to evangelize the lost through the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ according to the Scriptures.
Pastor Bong and his family are scheduled to move to the Philippines to serve as full-time AOFIM missionaries by October 2025. Learn more about our fundraising campaigns and prayerfully support us as the Lord leads.
The Cabuhat Family will be visiting Philippines during the month of January 2025 to hold a Christ-centered Bible seminar and to make further preparations for full-time AOFIM missionary work. The free two-day Christ-centered seminar will be hosted at University Baptist Church Manila at Sampalok for approximately 60 pastors and church workers. Your donations will go towards:
