About This Project

Bibles for China has helped provide Bibles for distribution throughout rural China since 2011. Our heart for China and our passion for the Bible has been the motivating force behind our work from the beginning. We believe that a Bible in the hands of a believer or seeker who will read it and respond to the truth they find in it will bring life transformation to their own life, to their family, to their community, and to the world.

The Chinese church is a capable and growing church body, but in many places, the Bible is still difficult to access. Therefore we strive to assist the work of local church leaders by providing Bibles without cost to local believers. We are thankful that the door has remained open to us in China in spite of the recent challenges for Christians and the Church. We continue to have many requests from our in-country partners for the Word of God. We provide full Bibles, church Bibles, Bible portions, and various study Bibles. Our partners in China continue to need these Biblical resources to help equip the Christian church that continues to grow in spite of the many challenges they face.

We also have begun an outreach to the millions of Chinese who live in many places outside of China. We recognize there are millions of Chinese outside of China that need to be reached with the truth the Bible contains. We have therefore initiated two new programs designed to supply Bibles and encourage scriptural engagement of these Chinese people in all parts of the world. These programs include the printing of Bibles and distribution through partners who will help the recipients engage meaningfully with the Word of God they receive. Our commitment is to do whatever we can to see that the Bible is available in whatever format is necessary for the truth to be shared with Chinese believers and seekers wherever they may be around the world.

We would also invite you to give to this work. Our work is funded by partners from 45 countries and 49 states who provide the financial resources for purchasing Bibles.
