Kevin and Matildah Sibalwa Van Ravenstein have a shared love for mission work, desiring to bring hope to the hopeless and share God’s love with the people of Zambia. As a result, they are rebuilding connections there and are starting an independent sponsorship program for children in rural areas where assistance is virtually non-existent. Some children walk a number of kilometres to and from school with no shoes. The inability to acquire basic school necessities like books, uniforms, pencils or pens keeps most of the kids from continuing their education or even going to school in the first place. Matilda grew up in Zambia and knows from her own experience the hardships these children face and how important it is to give hope to children…
