About This Project

Our mission at Kids of Hope Uganda 1 is to bring hope to the children who are oppressed by giving them a loving home and access to nutrition, healthcare, and education at our school onsite. The 96 children at the orphanage deserve to be shown the love of God and given an understanding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is our hope that they will grow up learning their lives have purpose and can be useful to the Kingdom, the nations, and Uganda.

Why give to this project?

Since the country-wide lockdown in 2020, it has become extremely challenging for us to access the very basic needs of the children: food, medicine, educational materials, building repairs, and maintenance. We have so many needs that go beyond this, including additional dormitories, beds, clothing, salaries for teachers, hygiene products, and additional medical attention.

Through our friends in Canada, we are receiving your donations to cover basic food needs, medicine, and school supplies. However, as the children grow, they need more to eat; they require fresh fruit, vegetables, and protein. To hire qualified teachers for our school, we must pay competitive salaries. These teachers need somewhere to sleep and to be fed three meals per day. While we get by each day, we want these children to thrive and succeed. When you give to the ministry, we are closer to meeting these needs.

Above all, we ask that you pray for our mission. Pray for the children and for those who work with the children. We know God has a plan for each of them, and we hope you can join us on the journey. Thank you in advance for your kindness.
