To nurture and prepare pastors and church leaders to do their own works of ministry so that as they do they will enlarge and build up the body of Christ.
Challenges that we deal with are that the pastors we deal with live in rural out-of-the-way areas and are not being ministered to by any organizations. They are very poor, and finding a means of communicating is a major hurdle that we are continually trying to overcome.
This ministry is providing the means for them to receive the word of God in the form of teachings and encouragement. We aim to visit once a year and meet monthly, where possible, with groups of pastors using email, WhatsApp, and video recordings that they can share with their churches. In addition, we have partnered with some doctors and nurses who provide us with medical equipment, and there is always a need for more.
The response from the pastors has been amazing. They are continually thanking us for the ministry we bring, and they tell us that this kind of ministry has never been made available to them before, and they ask to please not to stop ministering in this way.
The call to action enables us to continue to undertake this ministry by providing funds that allow us to continue teaching using online services along with written material that needs to be created and delivered to them so that it can be translated into local dialects. Travel is a very important and costly component of our ministry, as is the need to pay for the conferences that we are invited to speak at. Our hosts do not have the capability of paying for the conferences, which includes feeding the attendees who often travel long distances by foot to attend. When we arrive, we are faced with the costs of transport and gasoline as well as a myriad of other incidentals.
