Tim Derksen
Accounting Team Manager
Tim grew up in the family business, a Christian bookstore. After over 20 years of working alongside his father, the business was sold. After that, Tim worked as the bookkeeper for a local church and enjoyed nearly 19 years in that capacity. As his time there ended, the opportunity came to join The Great Commission Foundation as a junior accountant. Upon moving the office from Surrey to Abbotsford, he took over the role of Senior Accountant, where he continues to serve.
Tim has three grown children all living locally, and they have blessed him with six grandchildren, a very active part of his life.
Remaining active with sports and drifting, Tim also is serving on the board of the BCMB Bible Camp Society.
