He felt stuck and hopeless as he had had another relapse into a deep-seated porn addiction which brought her immeasurable trauma again.What started with talk of separation and how to move on apart, began to shift over time and with some hard work. Accountability. Authenticity.Coming clean and rebuilding trust. They faced real issues. They made amends. They started to pray together every night. Now, only six months later, with God’s divine involvement, there’s laughter, closeness, safety, recovery, companionship and a home re-established around putting God first in both of their lives. Prayer Request:

1. Pray for the four interns who will be training with us as therapists this year. Pray for great growth in their heart for God and people. Pray for Dr. Dave as he supervises them.

2. Pray that the DFR Care Centre would be a source of God’s Light and Truth in the community.

3. Pray for God to strengthen the many marriages and families that the counselling team sees every week.

4. Pray for interesting new speaking opportunities in churches, on podcasts and special marriage and family events but speaking, recording or Zooming remotely to make it happen.

5. Pray for the four recovery groups, for those struggling with porn or sexual addiction and for the one for partners whose spouses are battling through to freedom in this area.

6. Pray for the strengthening of the Care Fund so that individuals and couples in financial need will continue to be able to receive help.
