About This Project

Jill Ramer is volunteering as the office administrator at Cornerstone Counselling Foundation, located in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Cornerstone’s vision is ‘Embodying hope and healing to empower others towards greater wholeness and reconciliation with self, others, and God — locally to the people of Thailand, globally to Christian workers’. Cornerstone Counseling Foundation serves Christian workers throughout Asia as well as the people of Thailand, by providing confidential and professional counselling from a Christian perspective, along with training and workshops for the Thai community.

Why give to this project?

Cornerstone recognizes the unique stressors and challenges facing missionaries serving cross-culturally. Counsellors, many with their own cross-cultural experience, come alongside to encourage healing and wholeness so that missionaries can continue to bring that healing and wholeness to others through proclaiming the gospel in the least reached areas. The people of Thailand have seen an increase in depression anxiety and suicide rates. We are grateful for the opportunity to increase awareness of how to care for those struggling in the area of mental health, both inside and outside of the church, through community workshops and training.

We praise God that we have been able to continue to provide services even during the pandemic. Our organization was able to transition to an online platform for counselling and workshops and feel blessed that we could continue to serve during this time.

Thank you for your support of Jill as she volunteers as the office administrator. Administration has become more and more crucial as the organization grows and expands, and as it extends to the online platform. Please pray for wisdom for Cornerstone on how best to serve the missionary and local community these days.
