The Great Commission Foundation ("The GC") is a charitable trust, established by a Deed of Settlement made as of September 1, 2002 and governed by an Amended and Restated Deed of Settlements made as of October 22, 2024.
The GC is a public foundation that is registered with the Canada Revenue Agency (with Canadian Charitable Registration Number 859928483 RR0001).
The charitable objects of The GC are:
1. The advancement of Christianity by spreading its principles;
2. The relief of poverty by the assistance to those persons lacking the necessities of life by giving them food, clothing, shelter or financial assistance;
3. The advancement of education including, without limitation, by the teaching of scripture and the promotion of literacy; and
4. The advancement of other "charitable purposes" as defined within subsection 149.1(1) of Income Tax Act, which includes the disbursement of funds to "qualified donees" as also defined in subsection 149.1(1).
We engage other ministries as agents to carry out projects that fulfill our charitable objects.
The GC anticipates raising an estimated amount of $12,000,000.00 this year from donation for the fulfillment of its charitable objects from donors in Alberta, Canada. The processing of these donations will cost, on average, six percent. The money raised will be going to fulfill the charitable objects of The GC.

Japan Mission (JM) seeks to evangelize the unsaved and assist the Bible-teaching churches of Japan. Most churches are small and in need of assistance with literature, evangelistic programs, audio-visual materials and help from well-qualified workers.

LITERATURE - Bibles and evangelistic literature are being distributed throughout Japan, China, North Korea and other countries, in cooperation with various organizations and individuals. PRAY for the printers, network of couriers and for the many believers who have yet to receive their first Bible.
JM also publishes and distributes a new evangelistic tract each month. PRAY that the writers and editors would be inspired by the Holy Spirit.
ENGLISH EVANGELISM - JM workers minister by teaching the Bible and English to about 300 students in 20 different churches each week. PRAY for the students, workers and churches.
CAFE & HOMESTAY MINISTRY - People of all ages come to experience daily Christian living and hospitality, while being immersed in a different culture where people converse mostly in English. PRAY that the Holy Spirit would move hearts as we sow the seed.
MEDIA MINISTRY – Videos and websites are being made to help churches reach out to their local communities. Message CDs and Christian DVDs are being produced and distributed. JM also works in cooperation with various organizations to spread the Gospel through radio broadcasts. PRAY that hearts would be changed.
HOSPITAL EVANGELISM & OUTREACH TO THE ELDERLY - provide a constant opportunity for workers to visit the sick and elderly in hospitals and retirement homes. PRAY for the aging population in Japan.
STUDENT MINISTRY - Japan Mission is involved in the ministry of two Christian international schools. JM workers serve as teachers and board members. PRAY for the students and the provision of well-qualified teachers with hearts to see souls saved.
JAPAN MISSION has about 50 people in its family of workers, 30 of whom minister in Japan and East Asia. 20 overseas representatives (mostly volunteers) play a crucial role by helping JM stay in contact with supporters and prayer partners in Australia, Canada, South Africa, the UK and the USA. PRAY that God would guide, protect, grant wisdom and provide the resources as we work together with many to accomplish His task.
