About This Project

Dubbed ‘the Pearl of Africa’ by Winston Churchill, Uganda is a truly beautiful country of soaring mountains, spectacular waterfalls and diverse wildlife. However, as a result of the HIV/AIDS pandemic and civil unrest over the last two decades, there are 1.8 million orphaned children in Uganda. Many of these children are illiterate and living on the streets, forced to fend for themselves.

Based on Jeremiah 29:11, Jeremiah House believes each one of these children is special and was created for a purpose. Their mission to help youth understand they have value and worth is why they are instilling young people with hope and a Godly foundation for their future.

Jeremiah House provides youth with a sense of community in a caring home, three nutritious meals a day, and access to medical care and education. They also offer church services and devotionals, and the opportunity to partake in activities and hobbies they enjoy.
